Sybase Database Developer / Administrator (ITI)

By combining your talent and our strengths, we can acheive great results.Effective execution of the role includes the following requirements and associated skills: Production support - backup / restore, alerts monitoring, request management, performance tuning, setup/modify sybase replication Production changes - Build sybase ASEs, implement changes to highly replicated DB environment Weekend Planned work , Oncalls once every six weeksPreferred Qualifications: Four year degree or international equivalent Indepth knowledge of Sybase on Unix platform, Networking Be able to work with Unix/storage administrators on optimal configuration for database servers Cross-train other DBAs in Sybase Potential to be cross-trained and provide support for Oracle and MS SQL Server Should be able to grasp situation and provide solution to customers. REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience with Sybase ASE 1192, 12.X and 15.
Minimum 2 years experience with Replication server 12.1 and 12.6
Minimum 2 years experience with Unix (Solaris 8 and 10)
