Surveillance Shift Manager

Position Summary:

Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate the activities of surveillance personnel in performance of their duties. Compliance with gaming laws, regulations and internal controls in all areas of casino operations and support services.

Essential Functions:

• Adhere to guest service requirement listed above
• Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
• This is a uniformed position, which requires the team member is in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty
• Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential information disclosed by an Ameristar entity or by a guest of Ameristar Casinos
• Resonsible in accordance with responsibilities of IRGC Chapter 23 661-23.
• Day -to-day supervision of supervision of surveillance personnel.
• Implement and adhere all policies set forth by the IRGC and the department Director.
• Supervise and train surveillance observers according to company standard operating procedures.
• Observer and record any irregular activities as required.
• Recommend policy change to the Surveillance Director.
• Perform duties of a Surveillance operator as assgned, always presenting oneself as a credit to Ameristar and encouraging others to do the same
• Be familiar with the safe handling of cleaning products, equipment, and supplies
• Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance
REQUIREMENTS
Previous supervisory experience in surveillance required.
