Support TechnicianThis position is based in Wilkesboro, NC. The Support Technician provides basic analysis and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and procedural issues. Required skills include a superior customer service attitude, proven written and oral communication skills, analytical problem solving ability, troubleshooting skills for hardware and software, ability to work well with others in a team setting. Must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing operational environment.
REQUIREMENTS
A four-year degree in MIS or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience is preferred. A working knowledge of UNIX, PC hardware, and retail operations experience preferred. Position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, good customer service skills and analytical skills. In addition, experience with at least two of the following components: POS equipment, RS-6000 servers, Cisco networking gear, telecommunication gear, wireless infrastructure and devices, and laser printers.
