Storage Management Analyst
Job Category: Storage Management Analyst/Storage Management AnalystGeneral Responsibilities: Provides technical analysis and support for our information technology storage environment. Develops and implements business continuity practices and provides efficient and reliable storage allocation, along with defining backup, recovery and archival procedures.Responsible for the success or failure of recovering the MoneyGram, Money Order, Offical Check and ExpressPay systems. Including participation in, planning for, and documenting process and procedures for business continuity and disaster recovery.Responsible for all aspects of storage management including: implementing new storage technology, storage allocation for new and existing servers, planning and managing store capacity, developing processes and procedures associated with storage administration.Applies solutions and standards to ensure availability and performance of stored data including defect management, and troubleshooting services.Partners with customers to define and analyze customer business objectives, technical requirements for both the customer’s hardware/software and TECI’s, and analyzes the business and technical requirements for fit and best solution.Presents findings strategic technical recommendations to clients based on analysis of business and technical requirements.Responsible for project management including, planning, developing milestones, and implementing project within agreed upon timelines.Responsible for establishing system design, performance standards, maintenance schedule, and cost.Remains current on emerging technology and industry best practices. Keeps management informed and makes recommendations for change based on emerging technologies and industry best practices.Responsible for Backups including; maintaining, setup, monitoring both completion and performance, auditing, scheduling and running backups for all platforms.

(Required)Demonstrated experience with Network, IS Operations and Project Management. (Required)Demonstrated experience defining processes and procedures for business continuity and disaster recovery. (Required)Demonstrated experience participating in and planning for business continuity and disaster recovery testing. (Required)Experience participating in large enterprise level systems integration projects. (Required)Experience creating and implementing project and departmental escalation processes. (Required)Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. (Required)Demonstrated experience drafting processes and procedures. (Required)Excellent organizational skills. (Required)Demonstrated experience with Microsoft operating systems. (Required)Demonstrated experience with Unix operating systems. (Required)Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and implementing network and SAN technology. (Required)Demonstrated experience implementing server storage technology. (Required)Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and problem solving skills. (Required)Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or the equivalent training with direct experience.
