Storage Expert

Description: Our client, one of the world's leading hotel companies and the world's largest internet retailers, has an immediate need for an Storage Expert to provide research on all the difference storage platforms i.e. performance, availability, and scalability.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements: The person must have extensive knowledge about SAN, EMC ( DMX line ), IBM ( 8x00 ) , 3Par and HDS storage. The person is responsible for providing research on all the different storage platforms with performance, availability and scalability. The person must have experience in Storage in very large Oracle RAC database environment. Experience in UNIX/Linux Server Area Work with vendors and management here to provide advantages and disadvantages of the storage sub-systems to enable Management to make decisions on a solution Complete understanding of I/O metrics, knowledge of benchmarks, RAID levels etc Good presentation skills Complete understanding of storage products like SNAP, FLASH, SRDF and PPRC.
