This position is to support the Trading Floor. Hands-on experience with RMDS, TIB, Triarch, Caplin, Bloomberg and other supporting market data feeds that will enable you to understand real time market data delivery architecture. In addition, you will be called on to provide PC and Sun support for traders on the floor. You will work with Market Data vendors such as Bloomberg, Telerate and Reuters to resolve trader market data support issues as well as, identifying new technology and data products. With that you will be responsible for developing a strategy and migration plan on new market room technology architecture and systems development. You will also, assist the team in the evaluation and implementation process. Working with the business users and the technology team to develop a detailed design and implementation of requirements for new and existing market data systems/applications.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Mathematics or equivalent work experience. 8+ years experience in the financial or market data technology industries, with 5 years experience in trading floor support. Proficiency with Exel, Word and Acess, with knowledge of C++ or Java (Unix and/or Window) is required. You must have hands-on experience with RMDS, Triarch, TIB and/or other market data entitlement systems. Demonstrated project management, analytical and communication skills is a must.
