Sr. Systems Analyst - Imaging Workflow

Assist in system planning, scheduling and project implementation. Initiates corrective action to stay on schedule. Responsible for quality assurance including the design and guidance of the methodology used throughout the area. Analyze vendor tools and recommend solutions. Analyze, design and develop the most complex applications. Typically requires six to eight years of experience.Provide expertise in imaging and workflow technologies.
Conduct the design, development, implementation and support efforts of the imaging and workflow applications sufficient to ensure that assigned projects are achieved within the established timeframes and budgets.
Perform the execution of systems maintenance, enhancement and production support to ensure that service level expectations for functionality, availability, performance, security and control are fulfilled.
Maintain current technical skills to ensure the long-term viability of all systems developed.
Partner with Enterprise Technology Services to ensure effective teamwork in the planning, development, operation and support of assigned systems.
Provide training for functional business users as required.
Ensure that the methodologies, architectures and standards for systems development are embraced, in use, and enforced:
Structured systems development life cycle
Time accounting
Systems documentation
Development architectures
Coding and testing standards
Quality assurance and change control
Configuration management
Full testing of application or system software and configurations.
Performance of all assigned Call Management duties, to include on-call rotation.
Develop moderate to complex technical solutions as defined by the design specifications that are effective and efficient, and that are developed with maintainablility, performance, portability, reliability, scalability, and security in mind.
Participate in functional and technical code/design reviews to ensure that designs meet requirements and maximize performance efficiency.
Develop application or system solution that emphasize preventive versus corrective measures.
Execute of multiple work orders/service requests in accordance with established service level objectives and/or project plans.
Delivery of Project/Product/Service requirements on time, within budget and in accordance with specified levels of quality.Bachelors degree in business, computer science or other relevant discipline required.
3+ years experience in implementing complex systems projects.
1+ years experience in imaging and workflow technologies is required - Filenet or related technologies.
Excellent problem solving skills required.
Excellent oral and written communications.
A high sense of urgency.
Demonstrate an understanding in a structured development methodology.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong business and technical analytical skills and experience required.
UNIX and Windows NT experience is a strong plus..
