Sr. Project Manager

Purpose: TEKsystems is currently looking for a Sr. Project Manager to work for our client, a leader in their respective industry.

To be qualified for this opening, candidates must possess the following:

10+ years of demonstrated experience in project management and IT analysis/design disciplines. 7 years experience working in a PMO and formal lifecycle development environment desired.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Microsoft Project Server, and IDE software.

Strong management skills and proven track record of providing direction/leadership to others. Must be effective communicator and problem-solver. Project Management certifications from PMI or other training programs a plus.

Job Description:

Manage the prioritization/tracking of work and communication of functional teams, including development, quality assurance and production operations.

Manages multiple projects and oversees the integration of all projects. Utilizes leadership and expertise to direct staff and resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.

Create required deliverables for all project lifecycle phases, including requirement analysis, specification, cost and resource estimating, project planning and scheduling, implementation, rollout and maintenance.
