Sr. Programmer

3 Sr. Programmer positions needed for excellent client in Charlotte!
These will be contract to hire positions.

The right candidate(s) will code conversion software to extract, transform and load data from legacy system to new Broadband Cables and Satellite system.

RESPONSIBILITES:

- Create the mapping from legacy to new Broadband Cable Satellite system for Customer Management Application, Accounts Receivable Application, Customer Hierarchy Application, Invoicing Application, Inventory Application and Collection Application

- Follow the mapping design specifications for create a computer code to transform the data from the legacy database into the new database.

- Create a process to reconcile the data that is being loaded into the product.

- Create data manipulation routines to translate the old data information into the new data information.

- Improve Conversion process from manual to automatic

- Participate in design reviews and database reviews.

- Participate in conversion tests, QA test, customer test, Dress Rehearsal and production support group.

- Insure that product will work properly using converted data.

- Participate in customer meetings to present strategy, mapping and knowledge transfer to customer

- Be able to travel 20%-30% of the time
REQUIREMENTS
- Expertise on C programming language, SQL, Oracle, UNIX for HP and SUN.

-Expertise in activities related with Migration and Conversion Procedures.

- Pro-active attitude to solve problems
