Sr. Product Manager, E-Commerce

Volt Technical Resources has an immediate need for a Senior E-Commerce Product Manager in the Beverly Hills area. Our client is very well known and on the cutting edge of technology. Client's networks include a variety of different arenas.This is a key position responsible for defining and delivering technology to enable convenient and secure purchases of digital files, online services and for physical items.You must understand current E-Commerce initiatives/plans and develop a strategy to identify and share best of breed technologies.Work with users and business owners to create shared strategies for the benefit of the consumer.Write concise functional requirements for new automated processes or products, including business justification, consumer testing plan and operational impact.Identify and evaluate business partners that may speed implementation and work with business owners/development teams to develop new technology and/or interfaces and migrate to the new systems.


Requirements:

Thorough understanding of online e-commerce technologies and business models.Demonstrated creativity to envision next generation online purchasing models and to test those ideas with users.Exceptional interpersonal skills to get cooperation from and to influence busy business and development managers.Clear understanding of the software development process and of the key architectural components of high capacity web-based applications.Proven ability to manage direct and indirect teams.Minimum 3 years in the e-commerce industry, 5 years personally defining and delivering successful internet or software products.BA/BS degree, MSCS or MBA preferred.Company offers excellent benefit package and solid opportunity for growth.Local candidates are highly preferred, but will consider out of state candidates if open paying for own relocation.
