The Sr. Operations Analyst I is responsible for working either independently or with other team members, with little supervision, to successfully complete projects or segments of projects that provide analysis and solutions to business problems and needs. As part of the Reconciliation and Analysis (?R&A?) division, the responsibilities would include the following:Responsibilities:
Design and maintain qualitative reporting packages for the various units within R&A.
Work together with each unit of R&A to develop trend and root cause analysis / risk assessment. Subsequently translate this analysis to escalation / management reporting packages and various communications with other divisions as part of resolution and process improvements.
Focus on system initiatives and improvements. Coordinate testing plans, issues tracking and follow-up to resolution. Coordinate these efforts across all units of R&A, Systems and other users.
Coordinate/Manage User Acceptance testing, develop test plans and track results.
Act as a liaison between business units and Systems
Represent R&A in firm-wide working groups for various projects (new business, new process with R&A impact, studies and analysis of existing products that need improvements).
Gather business side user requirements for systems initiatives and prepare ?Business Requirements Documents ? BRD?s?
Produce procedural documents and training materials
Understanding technical concepts and effectively link them to the business needs
Contribute ideas and solutions to management to enhance deliverables
Tracking time, reporting status, and maintaining project plans
Perform quality control to ensure compliance with performance standards/best practices
Being flexible regarding changes in priorities, tasks, technical issues, and other hurdles that may be encountered while completing projects / day to day responsibilities.Qualifications:
College graduate with a 4 year degree
3-5 years of industry or project experience
Highly motivated with ability to self manage and work independently.
Demonstrated ability to execute project activities with little direction, and plan his/her time effectively to meet project dates
Must work well in a team environment
Ability to prioritize work and multi-task
Ability to communicate professionally with others / Strong written and verbal communication skills
An aptitude for analytical and problem resolution
Demonstrate strong organizational skills
