Job Description:
The Senior Manger Market Intelligence for the Siemens Medical Solutions Ultrasound Division leads and coordinates all efforts for the division in the areas of market, competition and customer understanding. Together with his team he is conducting analysis to identify areas of greatest market potential and provide recommendations to maximize objectives/strategies and sales potential.
The Senior Manager Market Intelligence will also have the responsibility to support the internal business reporting and decision-making processes and manage part of them.
An international focus and the ability to communicate analysis effectively to sales, marketing and division management in a form and level appropriate to each audience is paramount.

Primary responsibilities:

Prepare business research project guidelines and collect and communicate business data

Establish and monitor a consistent process for market opportunity assessment

Moderate the forecast and strategic planning process

Develop and implement tools for the efficient communication of market intelligence information

Provide senior management, marketing and countries with market insight and support in development of strategic, operational and tactical plans

Provide with his team the field with competitive sales tools

Specifically maintain and implement customer satisfaction research activities

Handle “Voice of Customer” activities

Coordinate Benchmarking activities and support the product portfolio planning process

Requirements:
Masters or Bachelors degree. High proficiency in: market research, statistical analysis, interpretation of market reports and high profile presentations. International orientation and experience in customer interaction is a prerequisite for this position. Excellent communication skills are crucial. Minimum work experience of 5-7 years. Specific Ultrasound background and a second language desirable.
