Sr Manager Information Systems & Development
Directs staff assignments to projects, monitors and evaluates project leader performance to assure completion according to plans.
Manages services to provide computer, telephony and network support to assigned business unit locations related to office systems, call center technologies, interconnected systems and other areas.
Ensures the analysis and resolution of problems associated with server hardware and application software.
Oversees the planning, development, enhancements, and maintenance of all offshore projects in assigned areas of responsibility and is accountable for timelines and accuracy of implementation.
Encompasses multiple projects related to facilities, technical, business, and corporate staff department conversions. Areas of focus include business analysis, participation in preparation of business and functional requirements, analysis of process flows, capacity planning, systems integration for business applications, implementation planning and assisting with implementation.
Recommends and administers policies, procedures and standards within assigned unit. Assures compliance with HSBC and divisional policies, procedures and standards. Keep unit personnel informed on matters affecting their area of responsibility.
Recommends the use of outside contract resources and administers selected contracts to assure performance.
Remains current on technical and professional developments affecting area of responsibility and advises department and division management on new developments.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

job Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a major or minor in Information Technology or industry certifications. Master’s degree preferred.
Extensive experience in information technology assignments including eight years experience in project management assignments.
Have a strong understanding of technical development processes and methodologies; as well as a strong business focus
Strong business experience in financial services preferred
PMI certification preferred
Proficiency and knowledgeable with Microsoft software systems
Experience with COBOL strongly preferred
Strong written and verbal, interpersonal, presentation, organizational, project management skills.
