Sr. J2EE Developer with XML experience

Purpose: Our client, a leader in its industry, is looking for a senior level J2EE Developer with a focus on XML development. The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions leveraging Java EE and XML technologies. The candidate will be involved in full lifecycle software development activities, including:
-Solution architecture definition
-Estimation of development activities
-Proof of concept/prototype creation
-Software detailed design
-Software implementation
-Software quality assurance

Experience/Qualification Required:

-B.S. in Engineering or other technical discipline
-3-5 years experience as a Java developer
-Working knowledge of current Java EE architectural/development best practices (e.g. SOA, dependency injection, ORM) required
-Working knowledge of XML parsing in a Java environment (Xerces API, XPath, XQuery, XSD, XSLT) required
-Working knowledge of SQL required
-Working knowledge of Hibernate preferred
-Working knowledge of Spring preferred
-Working knowledge of Oracle preferred
-Working knowledge of service development and service orchestration preferred
-Working knowledge of Maven and Ant preferred
-Working familiarity with a formal software development process
-Candidate must have solid interpersonal skills and be comfortable in a collaborative development environment
