Sr. Developer (EC Development)

Serves as an individual contributor to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications, providing specialized technical or business knowledge to projects. Works on assigned projects within an assigned business unit or corporate department and utilizes various new computing architectures (e.g., client/server, intranet, Web) or mainframe platforms. Collaborates with company customers, staff members, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces, assesses available technologies, and develops and presents solutions. Familiar with project management techniques and Standard Development Methodology. Acts as internal consultant, providing technical guidance or business process expertise on the most complex projects or researching strategic planning matters from a technical or business standpoint. Performs or integrates work at a high level within this job family, working at an in-depth level within a technical or business area. Identifies causes and implements solutions to business problems in a multifunctional project, assesses and communicates issues of technology impact on the business. Applies a broad knowledge of various technical functions to accurately anticipate organizational impacts. Understands the procedures and expected system performance associated with the introduction of new information technologies, while seeking ways to collaborate with other IT members (the Technology/Business Consultant Group, in particular) to facilitate transitions. Works with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery. Serves as a mentor to new team members or team members that are developing IT skills.
REQUIREMENTS
4 yr college degree from a regionally accredited university plus 1 yr relevant exp., or; 2 yrs college completed at a regionally accredited university (48 credit hrs) plus 2 yrs relevant exp., or; 4 or more yrs relevant exp.
