Sr. Developer - Data Integration

We are looking for a Senior Developer of Data Integration for the data warehouse team. This person will be a key contributor on a wide range of projects, reporting directly to the Director of Business Intelligence. Their principal responsibility will be to design, develop, and support the extraction, transformation, and loading processes for operational and analytical applications. The ideal candidate will need to be very self-motivated, responsible, and enjoy being a part of a highly skilled, dedicated team.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of data warehouse development experience
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services, a plus
• Expert in one of these configurations:
Oracle 10g and PL/SQL, or Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and T/SQL, and Oracle Warehouse Builder 10g or Microsoft SQL Server DTS/Integration Services.• Experienced with Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server performance-
tuning, including indexing, partitioning, hinting, and analyzing SQL execution plans.
• Ability to create detailed ETL technical specifications based on business user requirements
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with all
levels of users, including non-technical managers, data entry staff, and application developers to ensure data quality from application design to data entry to report delivery.• Able to understand very complicated reporting requirements and to create a process that ensures that nightly data loading is completed accurately.• Experience with data replication techniques, including
materialized views and snapshots.
