The IT Software Support and Testing Associate possesses broad knowledge of the
functions of their group as well as Firm procedures. He/she works on
assignments requiring the use of specialized skills, analytical and/or problem
solving capabilities. Is familiar with and understands concepts and
terminology associated with daily responsibilities. Applies explicit rules,
policies and procedures to routine decisions. For tasks that go beyond daily
responsibilities, requires instruction, direction or guidance from others.
Works under supervision. Operates as a contributing team member. Contributes
to the daily business operations of an office(s) or region.Primary responsibilities of this role may include:Provides support to both PwC internal staff and external clients on software
products via the phone and e-mail support databases.
Assists the technology development teams with Q & A testing of products prior
to roll-out.
Identifies, documents and reports recurring issues, and researches or makes
recommendations to resolve
Communicates/works with applications project managers/developers, vendors,
support teams to resolve technological problems, hardware/software or
environmental issues
Sets up test servers/environments as well as be responsible for product
installations and PC troubleshooting/image setup
Conducts testing of new products for internal and external deployment in the US
and Internationally, including test plan creation and execution
Provides test results/feedback to applications project manager
Responsible for ensuring the product to be implemented is thoroughly tested
Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues
Participates in ongoing analyses of support trends in order to suggest tips and
techniques designed to enhance the end user computing experience
May provide recommendations to sponsor and functional user groups regarding use
of product/system
Testing, Implementation and Quality Assurance services
Perform QA Systems Acceptance testing of products prior to product rollout:
includes executing and maintaining test plans to completely test all product
functionality, performing testing including but is not limited to operational,
regression and stress testing, and testing on multiple firm PC platforms/images
and integration with existing automated application installation tools
Provide implementation and problem solving support (written and verbal) for
multiple territories and environments.
Ability to identify system defects and determine software workarounds to know
'system bugs' .
Demonstrate complex problem solving skills while multi-tasking effectively.

Education and Other Typical RequirementsFour year degree in any business/ technical area or equivalent experience is
preferred plus one to three years relevant work experience.
Productivity, initiative, professionalism, customer service attitude, attention
to detail and quality, ability to multitask, team focus, strong interpersonal
skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and adherence to firm
and US IT standard operating procedures.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Strong skills utilizing Lotus Notes databases and Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of technology/software relevant to team
Must be willing to work overtime as necessary for day-to-day operations and
occasional weekend or after-hours coverage. May be required to carry cell
phone, pager or blackberry.

REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Four year degree in any business/ technical area or equivalent experience is
preferred plus one to three years relevant work experience.Essential Requirements:

Ability to quickly develop a thorough understanding of current and future
