We have an immediate opening for a Software Sales Representative who is experienced, motivated, and maintains an enthusiastic and professional attitude.The ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be well rounded, and professional with enterprise level software sales experience (inside and direct sales). The leading candidate will also be experienced with the employment of consultative selling techniques in the determination of the software and services needs of the prospect.ResponsibilitiesSell enterprise level software and Professional Services.Develop and search out new accounts and prospects.Follow-up on leads from web site, advertising, direct mail and tradeshows.
Make outbound calls (50-75 calls/day) to generate and qualify new leads.
Create new leads from your own prospecting effortsManage buying cycles and close deals.Act as primary contact point and serve as the liaison with sales prospects.
Demonstrate software for new client prospects, both online and in person
Provide detailed activity reports.
Achieve/exceed revenue targets and sales quotasDemonstrate superior phone and time management skillsThoroughly qualify all leads and sales opportunities
Acquire and demonstrate a working knowledge of all appropriate products and services.
Demonstrate professional selling skills that include verbal and written communications, prospect presentations, product and program demonstrations and trade show participation.Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure that all external and internal interactions are handled professionally.
Provide timely and accurate information to management and other appropriate personnel including sales forecasting, customer/prospect database management, competitive information, and customer requirements.
Apply sales skills and product knowledge to develop and successfully close new business.
Other tasks as assigned
Your success will be measured by your ability to close sales and achieve your sales quota. You will be most successful using Top Down selling techniques with Senior Management. You must also maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales-related activities in our Customer Relationship Management system (adhering to the company guidelines of data management).We offer a competitive salary with commission, vacation, and casual work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree
Minimum three years experience selling enterprise level software solutionsDirect and new business sales experience
Excellent negotiating/closing skills with customers/prospects.
Knowledge of advanced strategic sales techniques and of software acquisition cycles.
Must be energetic and possess a professional, enthusiastic attitude
Excellent communication (both written and verbal), as well as time management skills
Highly organized and motivated self starter.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Knowledge of Millwork or Building Material industries and/or a strong understanding of accounting a plus
A proven record of consistently exceeding sales quotas will make you a stronger candidate.
