This is a new role to head up the Software Quality Assurance function with leadership responsibility for 120+ SQA professionals based in a number of development centres around the world. The role has been established to centralise and bring uniformity to SQA processes and procedures, ensuring consistent quality for all our software releases with efficient use of resources.The successful candidate will have exceptional leadership skills and an excellent SQA management pedigree and background. Importantly the successful candidate will also have the drive, enthusiasm and natural ability to implement a process of change, bringing together disparate QA teams with their own management, tools and procedures into a single global unit demonstrating QA best practice.Roles and Responsibilities
Lead a geographically dispersed QA team of 120+Ownership of the entire software quality assurance program for all the company’s software productsDefinition and implementation of QA strategy for all software releasesDevise and implement change management programme to unify disparate product centric QA teams into a centrally managed global QA pool aligned with the corporate development vision of an Enterprise Decision Management product suiteSet the strategy for QA tools and techniquesSupervise and be accountable for all QA projectsOwn QA signoff on all software releases
