Software Quality Assurance Analyst IV

This is a senior level testing position in USD Clearing.



Develops test strategies, test plans and test cases in conformity with the JPMC IT Project Delivery Framework. Develops test data manually and/or using an IBM based file editor such as File Aid. Has experience writing and debugging COBOL programs sufficient to analyze code in order to develop test cases for regression test cases where no Functional Requirement document exists.



Makes recommendations based on assessed risks to quality by applying various verification and validation techniques in coordination with the project team (QA leads, project managers, development managers, change management and QA core members.) Accountable for internal process and procedure improvement projects and manages as well as develops and executes test cases. Promotes teamwork. Coaches junior team members.

REQUIREMENTS


College degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience 5+ years of QA/Test experience and/or as an Analyst/Programmer. Experience should include project risk assessments and communication 5+ years of experience working with developers, project and release managers Experience with IBM mainframes/TSO/JCL/Fileaid/Expeditor Development experience using COBOL highly desireable. Experience developing and executing test cases in Quality Center preferred Test case automation experience, using Quick Test Pro is a plus Deep understanding of software development process, especially test methodologies
