Software Quality Assurance

Job Description

The goal of the software quality assurance group is to create test
plans, test scripts, and execute same as appropriate, within the
budget and time constraints for the project. The service request
group is especially challenged with assuring that the testing is not
"overdone" as these are supposed to be "quick hit" projects. The
entire software quality assurance group works well together and
supports one another in all testing activities.


Technical/Functional Qualifications

The person filling this role will ideally have some knowledge of the
401k business and some background in the internal and external
applications used in the Richfield, Ohio facility. This person will
juggle multiple testing tasks (as many as 5-10 at a time) and be able
to prioritize on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis status of multiple
small projects. The person will need to communicate with managers,
other testers, developers, business analysts, and business users.



Knowledge of Microsoft products is a plus. This includes but is not
limited to SQL, Windows, Access and Excel. A working knowledge of
401k business logic is a plus.

Ability to interface well with the business
Ability to successfully design testing scenarios and plans
that cover up to 90% of needed functionality and regression
testing for a particular small project.
