REQUIREMENTS
Quality Analyst position description:

Built on practical, “real-world” experience, Sogeti’s Software Control Testing (SCT) solution takes a proactive and structured approach to software quality, testing and security. This enables clients to make informed decisions about whether to put software into operation and deliver more complex, high-quality software faster and more cost effectively. At the heart of SCT is Sogeti’s Test Management Approach (TMap®), the company’s methodology for structured software testing services, and Sogeti’s Test Process Improvement (TPI®) model, a methodology for reviewing and improving the entire test process.

You will become a part of Sogeti’s SCT team, supporting a wide range of software QA and testing efforts for various software development projects.

Duties and responsibilities include:
After training, implement the TMap test methodology at the clients’ site.
Design and plan a test strategy based on risk.
Review of the functional documentation
Specification of test cases using the TMap test techniques.
Setting up initial datasets
Execution of test cases
Providing status and progress reports
Registration of defects
Preserving testware
Knowledge transfer to clients through trainings and lessons learned.

Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree in an Information Technology related discipline.
3-5 years professional experience in a corporate and/or consulting IT environment.
1-3 years professional experience in quality assurance and/or testing of software

Specific test engineering skills and experience:
General knowledge of the testing life-cycle
Experience reviewing and interpreting functional documentation
Experience designing test scenarios based on functional documentation achieving a certain test coverage
Experience in defect logging, tracking and reporting
Experience using test tools such as Mercury or Rational

Information engineering skills:
General knowledge and experience in the field of IT;
General knowledge of system development methods;
Experience in basic database handling using SQL

General Requirements:
Quality oriented mindset
Fast learner
Knowledge of project organization and working practices in the framework of a project
Word processing and spreadsheet processing skills
Creativity and accuracy.
