Software Officer

No.: MOS-F06-015Software OfficerProvide Management and Technical Support to an Army Program Office.(1) Clear understanding of Microsoft Products, Software Assurance benefits and incentives and Licenses including contract terms and conditions.Individual will be focal point for all Microsoft products and inquires. Will also be responsible for providing updated information for the web site’s “FAQ”, pricing and forms, and coordinate changes with web site administrator.This candidate will also be the benefits administrator for the Army's Microsoft Enterprise License Agreement's benefits.(2) Customer services skills to answer many enterprise license agreement inquiries in a timely manner, including technical issues from customers and other interested parties.(3) Responsible for developing implementation plans.(4) Database experience including Oracle, Microsoft SQL and Microsoft Access. This will include creating reports in excel as required.(5) Other Technical skills a PLUS in order to properly answer questions and interact with team include: system design, development and testing; e-commerce experience; JAVA, HTML, T-SQL and XML.(6) Prior Government experience a PLUS(7) Individual will need to obtain a SECRET clearance.QUALIFICATIONS:Degree Requirements: Bachelors Degree. Must be Microsoft Certified
4 years related experienceADDITIONAL INFO:Position Location: Fort Monmouth, NJTravel: Two - five trips per year in CONUS, limited OCONUS travel possibleApplicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
