Software Engineer

Lead the research, design and implementation of software networking functionalities for the next generation of WAN Acceleration products. Assume specific responsibility for researching and addressing all issues relating to the TCP/IP stack, routing protocols, TCP/IP dynamics and interaction of these devices with user/customer application protocols. Enhance and support existing products to address customer feedback and customer needs. Provide software expertise to other networking software development problems and challenges on an as-needed basis.

Requires a BS in Computer Science with at least 5 years of software product development expertise with (and an excellent understanding of) data networking protocols and their implementations. Expert level knowledge of TCP/IP dynamics and security protocols including SSL, IPSec, and Public Key Infrastructure is also required. Direct experience implementing products in one or more of the following areas is necessary: VxWorks, Linux, Device drivers, IP routing, L2/L3 forwarding, QOS, VoIP, Caching, and TCP optimization. Should be fluent in software development in C/C++.
