Software Architect

Software ArchitectPosition Scope: This position is a key interface between the technical team and user communities. Analyze customer requirements and design complex business and clinical software solutions for large behavioral health care concerns. Design new products and product enhancements that are consistent with corporate design concepts and the existing product suite and data structures. Facilitate and lead design meetings with staff at all levels at customer sites to evaluate requirements and business and clinical processes and conceptualize and produce designs which detail the use case, user interface and processing functionality. Work with internal analysts and database professionals to conceptualize functionality, data structures and best fit, and write functional specifications to be used by the development staff.


Requirements:
Experience with large scale applications
Experience in workflow creation and business process modeling and analysis
Experience with software design tools, software development languages and tools, user interface design and standards, information processing, databases, and data structures.
Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent facilitation, customer interaction, and presentation skills
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and issues management skills
Excellent project management and self mgmt skills
Ability to deal effectively with difficult and sometimes ambiguous requirements, including federal and state government mandates
Exp with medical billing, Medicaid, Medicare, and federal HIPAA regulations a plus
Strong sense of ownership and commitment to meeting deliverables
Requires periodic nationwide travel
