Software Application Intern
Florida Health Care Plans is seeking a Software Application Intern for the Holly Hill facility.
Assist in the troubleshooting, resolution, and documentation of issues reported to the Help Desk.
Gather and review functional requirements from end user community.
Create, design, and review functional and technical specification documentation.
Gather and review contractual agreements.
Develop and maintain existing code for GUI applications.
Participation in the development of project plans, test plans, and scripts.

REQUIREMENTS
Pursuing Information Technology certification or Bachelor degree in related field.
Knowledge or experience working with the Microsoft .NET Framework.
Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following programming languages is highly de-sirable Java/J2EE, JSP, Java Script, SQL, C#, VB.NET or XML.
Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Suite of products including: Outlook, Excel, Access, Visio, and Project.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required.
Health Care experience is a plus.
