Business Unit: NBC UniversalFunction: Digital MediaResponsibilities: We are looking for someone who is passionate about media, and has a proven ability to lead the development and implementation of websites, web applications, web marketing and sales initiatives and multimedia productions including video and Flash. The Site Producer will work with business units such as Sales, Marketing, PR, and regional leaders to determine the strategy for external web sites. The Site Producer will collaborate with designers, producers, programmers, project managers, and site strategists to design and implement web applications and personalized user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have previous internet experience in product or project management and be able to understand internet technology, industry trends, editorial and business requirements and translate them into actionable projects that improve the site and advance business goals. The Site Producer should have experience making and working from site maps and should be able to write up project descriptions including traffic projections, audience targets, task lists, time lines, and wireframes.
Specific Responsibilities
Assist in the development of business news Website. The Site Producer will work on many facets of a site build, from market research and earliest conceptual treatments through architecture, development and launch.
Contribute to proposals, project briefs and strategy documents;
Plan and implement the development of interactive and multimedia marketing projects including the production of web content, videos, Flash mini sites and other projects.
In addition to day-to-day publishing duties, oversee long-range planning and production of relevant interactive content for the web site.
Help to develop innovative ideas and new concepts for feature story-telling for the show site. Collaborate with show producers to expand the brand and content onto the web site.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *Minimum 6 years experience in writing, producing, and/or editing including the ability to perform in a high-volume, multi-task/deadline oriented environment and fluency with scheduling, spreadsheets and word processing software is required.
Minimum 6 years web production management experience.
Minimum 3 years experience at large online content destination, including but not limited to a major online news site or financial newspaper.
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial startup environment.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed, including mornings, evenings, and/or weekends when necessary.Desired: *BA or BS desired.
Familiarity with all areas of web and multimedia production and design including, but not limited to DHTML, Photoshop, Flash, web A/V digitizing.
Must be able to lead meetings and meet deadlines and possess good presentation skills.
Hands-on, solution-oriented approach to managing complex projects.
Must be highly motivated, extremely organized, detail-oriented, and possess outstanding communication and project coordination skills.
Passionate about Internet story telling and creating the best user experience on-line, with proven experience in a creative environment.
Ongoing knowledge of and interest in the business world and financial news is preferred. Knowledge of television production process helpful.
Solid understanding of web standards, design and usability.
