Signal Support Systems Specialist

The Signal Support Systems Specialist is a Soldier who supervises, installs, employs, maintains, troubleshoots, and assists users with the battlefield signal support systems and terminal devices in the Oregon Army National Guard. This Soldier integrates signal systems and networks and performs unit level maintenance on authorized signal equipment and associated electronic devices. In addition, the Signal Support Systems Specialist trains and provides technical assistance to users of signal equipment; and operates and performs preventive maintenance checks and services on assigned vehicles and power generators.

The Oregon Army National Guard is an elite group of Citizen-Soldiers who dedicate a portion of their time to serving their nation. Guard members train part-time to be ready full-time, should their state or nation call them to serve. Guard members have a long and noble history of serving at home and abroad to ensure the safety and freedom of their fellow citizens.
