Sharepoint/.NET Developer

Job Function/RESPONSIBILITIES

·Participate in the delivery of client solutions by estimating, planning, designing, and implementing distributed software architectures and solutions using Microsoft technologies
·Provide client guidance and direction regarding .NET development standards, policies and best practices
·Provide client guidance and direction regarding development methodologies, frameworks and processes
Perform technology/tools evaluation and software technical proof of concepts
Engage in senior level technology decision-making discussions related to agility, business value, and .NET
·Apply advanced analysis skills (design patterns, UML, etc) and experience in the principals of software design to define appropriate customer solutions
·Manage projects assigned through the entire project lifecycle
·Ability to work and deliver consistent results within the project constraints
·Understand, analyze and document client technical environment and business requirements

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
A college degree in Computer Science or the equivalent technical experience

Experience:
·A minimum of seven years of experience in architecting, designing and programming complex websites using Microsoft technologies
·Five years of database programming experience, three years with .NET development
·Two years experience managing team members
·Though not required, one or more of the following certifications: MCSE, MCSA, MSDBA, MCSD, MCAD, MSF, MOF or CISSP
·Experience with Microsoft servers: CS, CMS, BizTalk, SPS/WSS
·COM+, MSMQ
·Deep knowledge of the .NET Framework, including but not limited to ASP.NET, Win Forms, System.Threading, Remoting, XML, ADO.NET
Substantive non-ASP.NET development experience is required
Expert knowledge of C#
Object-Oriented analysis/design experience in multiple contexts/domains
Experience developing distributed .NET applications
Proficiency with design patterns, refactoring and test-driven development
·UML
MS SQL Server, general relational design and database development skills
Web presentation technologies including HTML, DHTML, client side scripting and CSS
·Knowledge in Banking and Financial Services industry preferred

·Extensive knowledge of SQL and database programming techniques
