We currently have an opportunity available for a Senior Web Marketing Specialist. In this role you will manage projects related to website development, Content Management System, and online marketing in support of the eMarketing department and up to four global Business Units. Initiatives will support the entire Shure product portfolio with an emphasis on Shure.com and the United States Business Unit, and will span three levels of our global customer base - end users, resellers, and internal customers. Development and creation of these projects will require close interaction with Global Integrated Marketing and the Business Units. You must also balance internal customer needs with Corporate governance, brand and web standards considerations.
Provide execution, operational, and consultative project support to our Global Integrated Marketing Group and our four global Business Units, with an emphasis on the United States Business Unit.
Serve as company subject matter expert on Stellent content management systems, field business unit requests for site updates, balance internal support role with business unit autonomy to manage their own websites.
Develop web pages, assist in campaign tracking, develop forms, write web copy, and manage other interactive projects for the business units, the websites of those business units, and the Shure.com website.
Understand the product portfolio, marketing strategies, distribution strategy, and marketplace challenges for the Pro Audio audience worldwide.
Manage the metric and analytics environment for Shure.com. Compile monthly reporting, track trends, identify opportunities and warning signs inside the monthly metrics.
Manage external resources, agencies, and vendor contacts as needed, within budget and in accordance with Shure standards.
Ensure consistent use of Shure web standards in regional and customer websites, campaigns, and special projects, including usability, navigation, brand, etc.
Oversee the ongoing maintenance and support of Shure’s image management and distribution tools. Propose new solutions as necessary to ensure timely availability of images and materials to resellers and channel partners.
Ability and willingness to fulfill duties outside normal office hours is occasionally required.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position we require 4 to 6 years experience in website marketing, website management, or website design-related position and a BS or BA in a related field. You must have basic knowledge and/or proficiency in Photoshop, Flash, XML and intermediate to advanced proficiency in javascript, HTML production, reporting with Excel, Content Management System.
2 to 4 years experience managing or proficiently operating within a content management system (Vignette, Interwoven, etc.). Experience with Stellent a plus.
Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time with multiple contacts.
Ability to effectively interface often with internal customers, and process customer requests with a solutions-oriented approach that adds value for the requestor and maintains website and departmental stewardship.
Must have a track record of results with website projects/programs, and developing and managing website pages/sections.
Ability to write copy for websites, “webify” existing copy, and translate images and graphics to web-friendly presentation.
Understanding of website standards, best practices, branding, web design, and content presentation.
Comfortable in a matrix management environment with internal customers.
Experience managing or facilitating email database marketing programs desired.
Audio Industry and/or Technology Industry experience a plus.
