Senior Technology Manager

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority is currently accepting resumes for a Senior Technology Manager. Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, leads the JTA in developing, implementing and maintaining policies, procedures and standards related to IT practice and strategic plans that result in effective utilization and investment in enterprise-wide information technology to accomplish JTA goals and objectives. Ensures the JTA has comprehensive tools, technology and processes for the transfer, storage and retrieval of electronic, print and all other forms of information essential to operate the business. This job will entail hands-on development and design, along with day to day management duties.

REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business required. Advanced degree preferred. Ten years of progressively responsible experience in the Information Technology organization through the development, implementation, and maintenance of Information technology related policies, standards and procedures and establishing short and long tern strategic and operational plans. A minimum of three years managing staff and other resources is required. Experience should also include exposure to both shared and outsourced solutions, as well as support of in-house information and communication systems in a client-server environment, and proven success in leading and managing integrated systems for a mid-size to large service organization.
