Senior Systems Analyst
FUNCTION:Serve as an expert in the manufacturing, financial, and supplemental software packages. Work closely with other company departments to develop a thorough knowledge of business processes and system requirements. Provide leadership in all phases of the selection, set up, implementation and support of information technology solutions and business process change management to support the company manufacturing environment.

IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT OF BUSINESS APPLICATION AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SOLUTIONS40%A.Develop knowledge of application solutions and defined business system processes to recommend and deploy quality information technology solutions to the business user.
B.Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems. Develop and recommend strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
C.Lead the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
D.Proactively manage and administer business application solutions to support corporate and global operations.
E.Define corporate and global system integration requirements and solutions.
F.Recommend, develop and adhere to business applications systems and process documentation standards.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT30%A.Develop and manage project plans to effectively implement information technology solutions, indicating significant milestones.
B.Determine and direct resource needs to complete project.
C.Meet project schedules/milestones. Complete project deliverables according to department standards.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS20%A.Develop a thorough knowledge of manufacturing system requirements and business processes.
B.Participate and lead in the evaluation and selection of manufacturing and supplemental software solutions
C.Promote and lead business process change according to best practices.
D.Collaborate on and recommend business applications system methodologies.
USER AND OPERATIONS SUPPORT10%A.Support or response is provided on a timely basis.
B.Recommend, understand and adhere to department policies and procedures.
C.Update help desk documentation following resolution of problems.
D.Frequent communication to user/help desk as to the current status of problems/issues.
REQUIREMENTS
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education:B.S. Information Science or related field,
Advanced degree preferred
Experience:More than 6 years experience in application software design, implementation and support.
Special Abilities:Knowledge of the manufacturing process.
Demonstrated experience in the implementation and support of business application software packages.
Excellent customer service skills including telephone techniques, listening skills, sense of urgency and enthusiasm.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with end-users and management.
Demonstrated project planning, project management, problem-solving and work prioritization skills.
Must be both team-oriented and self-motivated.
Familiar with current technology and methodologies.
Familiar with several computer operating systems and relational databases including MS Windows, Unix, Oracle and MS Access.
Open to domestic and international travel.
ACCOUNTABILITY:Responsible for the selection, setup, implementation and support of company’s manufacturing, financial, and supplemental software systems.
