Senior SAP BW Analyst

A large global manufacturing company located in suburban Philadelphia is looking for a senior level analyst to assist in the implementation of SAP Business Warehouse 7.0 (BW) as the company’s business intelligence tool. The person in this position will be the expert on SAP BW and will lead a team of other analysts to enable BW functionality. This is very hands-on position involving both functional and technical activities; although many of the development tasks will be handled by another team member, the person in the Senior Analyst position must have development experience and be able to manage creation of the Business Warehouse.

Responsibilities include:
·Manage all project tasks, including creating project plans, timelines, etc.
·Interact effectively with managers and key users in determining requirements, analyzing solutions, troubleshooting, etc.
·Develop design specifications from requirement analysis
·Manage the development of the Business Warehouse
·Develop test plans and manage testing activities
·Coordinate and manage other project activities related to implementing SAP BW
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Include:
·Four year college degree in a technical field is preferred, equivalent work experience will be also considered
·3-5 years general experience with SAP
·at least one year experience with SAP Business Warehouse 3.5 or 7.0 concepts, features, etc.
·experience with BW development (cubes, objects, etc)
·knowledge of business intelligence principles in general
·experience with SAP BW toolset and workbench, data model design, ability to write basic queries, etc is a plus
·excellent communications skills and the ability to interact with and influence persons at all levels of the company. Excellent English language skills are required.
