Sr Project Manager

1. Manage assigned projects and project teams, with a focus on package implementations, using deliverables-based project management methodology. Work as a peer with the PMO and IT Managers to confirm project prioritization, scope, business requirements, design, and project deliverables. Develop a deliverables focused WBS, schedule, resource plan, budget, and project plan including project initiation documents with ROI and/or payback period calculations as needed.

2. Organize and lead effective project teams to execute project plans and carry projects through all life cycle phases beginning with initial analysis to scope and finally through to transition that meet project objectives and goals. Define and estimate the required project organization including time estimates needed to execute tasks and work with resource owners to obtain resources to accomplish project objectives according to portfolio prioritization.

3. Work in a matrix team structure to ensure smooth implementation and support of systems in a production environment. Deliver processes and documentation that meet and furthers IT standards and strategy as well as customer standards (for example process and data flows diagrams, architectural and system definitions, design diagrams, key IT processes, and training materials).

4. Effectively communicate project issues and risks to all project stakeholders including project team members, resource owners, vendors, and customer groups. Escalate issues and risks to appropriate stakeholders as required to ensure project success.

5. Take responsibility for project change control and prioritization process. Manage project scope, feature requests and bug/issue reports, and customer expectations.

6. Communicate technical and business issues effectively to non-technical team members and stakeholders.

7. Cultivate knowledge of project management methodologies, existing and emerging areas of importance for Enterprise level IT Projects and apply your business and project management expertise to TIC business goals.

8. Create and present clear and effective reports to all stakeholders, including company executives, as well as facilitate sponsor, stakeholder and vendor meetings.

9. Responsible for overseeing project budget and expenditures including contract and vendor negotiations. Also responsible for initiating and maintaining long-term vendor relationships.

10. Understand and clearly communicate accounting/financial transactions associated with a real estate, construction, property management or land development organization.
REQUIREMENTS

1. Minimum 10-years solid business and IT experience; 5-years managing Enterprise level projects. Knowledge of accounting financial systems required preferably in real estate industry.

2. Proven experience in project management methodologies including successful enterprise-level Implementations.

3. Foundational knowledge in at least one of the following: business processes specifically related to the real estate, construction, or land development vertical, package application deployment including implementation of modifications and customizations, networking, database, application development or systems integration and support. Experience in multiple disciplines would be a plus.

4. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (example documents a plus).

5. Strong critical thinking skills, including systems, business analysis, risk analysis, risk mitigation, conflict resolution, as well as good judgment/decision making ability required. A genuine passion for project management is a must.

6. Project Management Professional Certification a plus a working knowledge of Clarity also a plus.
