Senior Programmer-REMOTE FULL TIME JOB!!

Large Health Care Medical Claims Company in the RTP area is looking for a Senior Programmer to build a virtual Heatlh Profile system from High Level System Requirements Design. The database is a very complex SQL Server Database with 100's of tables and the professional must be very adept at getting the data from this complex database.

The Senior Programmer will provide technical leadership in full life cycle development; requirements gathering, design construction and testing. This will include UML design, source control, unit and system testing, and other development processes. They will work with clinical users to take ideas from design through release, as well as maintain previously developed applications. The ability mentor junior team members and to prioritize and complete multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is required. REQUIREMENTS


Required Qualifications:



-5+ years overall experience programming in a production environment

(3+ years in .NET, 1-2 years with other Microsoft technologies)

-Familiar working with MS Visual Studio, Visio, VSS, and MSF/UML process models

-3+ years experience working with working with SQL Server including T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, etc.

-Experience with programming drug data bases, prescription validation, drug interactions, contraindications, and dosing parameters.

-Excellent writing and speaking skills

-B.S. in Computer Science or other technical degree (M.S. desirable)



Other Desired Qualifications:

Technical leadership

Experience programming First Data Bank NDDF a huge plus

SAS experience not mandatory but desirable

Microsoft Certifications including MCP, MCAD or MCSD also a plus
