Senior Program Analyst

SCA, a global consumer goods and paper company that develops, produces and markets personal care products, tissue, packaging solutions, publication papers and solid-wood product is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst supporting the Packaging Division. The position will be located in either the New Brighton, PA, or DeKalb, IL offices. SCA creates value through knowledge of the needs of consumers and customers, regional presence and efficient production. Sales are carried out in some 90 countries and production in about 40 countries. At the beginning of 2006, SCA had about 50,000 employees.

-Provide primary TMS (Clipper) application expertise to Packaging Division

-Analyze system requirements and develop complex programming to support identified needs.

-Develop alternative solutions, both via programming and non-programming methods, to resolve daily business problems effectively and efficiently

-Provide the Cognos application expertise

-Provide significant expertise and support with M/S applications, including Access, SQL, .Net

-Support ‘user’ departments wherever possible to allow for highest productivity

-Ensure that legitimate licensed software is secured and utilized throughout Division
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

-Bachelors degree in Computer Science

-Minimum of 2-5 years prior programming experience in Clipper - REQUIRED

-Superior software skills in M/S applications (Access, Word, Excel, Power Point), SQL, .Net, and Visual Basic

-Ability to translate daily business problems into solvable solutions, via technical and procedural needs

-Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously

-General knowledge of networking and other miscellaneous application software
