Senior .NET Developer

Job Responsibilities
*Serve the needs of the business through evaluation, planning and development of efficient and cost-effective application solutions.
*Performs initial analysis of systems requirements to provide accurate sizing and scope estimates to business sponsors.
*Translates business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
*Writes the code.
*Prepares program test data, tests, and debugs programs.
*Provides guidance to system testers and business users in understanding systems changes.
*Works with source code control system to ensure proper code tracing and configuration management.
*Works within development team to share understanding, plans and patterns.
*Performs related duties as assigned or requested.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
*Bachelors or Associates degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or related experience.
*Minimum 2 years full-time ASP.NET development experience.
*Minimum 5 years full-time Windows and Web development experience.
*Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Requires sufficient knowledge of IT operations, responsibilities, work flow processes and procedures to resolve many inquiries independently.
*Good analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively with Customer and IT staff.
*Familiarity with Web Services a plus.
*Experience working student loan or financial services a plus.
*Experience working in business environment providing customer service to business users.
