Our client in Richmond, Virginia is in need of a Senior Financial Marketing Analyst for a permanent opportunity.

The candidate will provide analytical support as part of a Media Analysis team to clients within the marketing organization, evaluate marketing expenditures for impact on sales, traffic, brand, and other relevant metrics, and assist client areas in tracking and reporting on budgeted expenditures. The candidate will also develop marketing plans with expected ROI's during budget periods and on ad hoc basis, support vendor media companies in doing in-depth analyses of media expenditures, including providing data for models and procuring and processing key performance data, serve as a consultant to client departments, advising clients on desirable methods for making marketing investments, and providing guidance related to a thorough understanding of a broad level of marketing activity performance.

Marketing analysis experience including database marketing statistical analysis and data mining, as well as 2-3 years of practical business experience utilizing the above referenced skills is required. Specific experience relating to media is preferred but not required. SQL experience is a must.

An undergraduate's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operation Research or other technical/analytically oriented business field is preferred.
