Senior MIS Analyst

Responsibilities: This position utilizes formal and professional actuarial or operational training to meet internal and/or regulatory requirements and/or facilitate the execution of strategic goals. He/She also utilizes formal MIS training and/or a high level of first hand MIS experience to analyze and evaluate existing or proposed systems, and revise or develop computer programs, systems, and related procedures to process data. Duties: Formulate/define system scope and objectives for assigned projects. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Be responsible for report design, development and support, program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. Have full technical knowledge of all phases of actuary applications systems analysis and programming. Also has duties instructing, directing and checking the work of other actuary MIS analyst and information system programming personnel. Be responsible for quality assurance review and for directing and monitoring the support work of team members.
