Senior JAVA Architect

SENIOR JAVA ARCHITECT:
* Design, code, test and implement web applications using Java and J2EE technologies;
* Lead and mentor team members;
* Design components using Java and J2EE OO design patterns;
* Regularly communicate and present plans, progress, and issues, to technical and business teams;
* Develop and deploy systems in a process that fully incorporates testing;
* Provide technical and business explanation and justification for design and coding approaches;
* Provide recommendations on development tools and practices based on experience, best practices, and acquired learning.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum eight years as architect
Required skills include:
* Java / J2EE, JSP, Servlets, MVC architecture, JMS, EJB, XML

Additional skills include:
* JBoss, WebWorks, UML, Spring, Maven, Ant, SQL Server, and Hibernate
