Senior IT Systems Analyst/Data Warehouse

Briggs Construction Equipment, the largest Case Heavy Equipment dealer in the US with 22 locations in the Southeast has an immediate opening for a Sr. Systems Analyst/DBA working out of our Tampa, FL headquarters location. This position, working independently, will analyze complex business and technical system problems and design/develop business intelligence solutions to address business needs and opportunities.

General duties:
-Analyze business processes, procedures, problems and information requirements to refine data for conversions.
-Write and review systems specifications
-Design and modify systems
-Provide technical advice and assist others in solving systems problems
-Determine appropriate actions in emergency situation to ensure data is secure and available

REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Qualifications:
-5+ years of systems experience including data warehousing applications
-Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and enterprise solutions using Cognos 8
-Data warehouse architecture and design on MS SQL-server platform
-Data modeling – building ODS and dimensional modeling
-Writing systems specifications
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
