Senior Development Manager

senior dev manager: 12-15 years experience in app dev, at least 6 in a leadership position.

* experience in Web development (Java, JSP, struts)

* Sybase (or other relational db) experience

* strong application architecture skills

* ability to lead a medium/large team independently

* strategic thinker

* professionally mature

* very strong project management skills

* serious commitment to structured development and project management processes

* strong verbal & written communication skills

* strong presentation skills

* strong interpersonal and relationship management skills

Desirable qualifications include:

* experience in supporting legal and/or compliance businesses, specifically, regulatory reporting / disclosures, matter management, e-discovery

* experience with Vignette or other portal development tools

* experience with Saviion or other workflow dev tools

* experience installing/supporting third party solutions

* vendor management skills
