Senior Developer/Analyst

This position is with the COMPUTER SYSTEMS SEGMENT of Volt Information Sciences, Inc. This particular division of Computer Systems, dataServ, provides enhanced directory assistance and information services to enterprise customers. The division's services utilize the most accurate consumer and business databases to allow companies to improve their operations and marketing capabilities. DataServ presently has an opening for a Senior Software Analyst in Blue Bell, PA.
Reporting to the Director of Software Development, you will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of all DataServ service offerings. Your technical and working knowledge of standard data technologies, including database design, data normalization and data implementation will contribute to your success in this role.


Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience), in addition to 3 to 5 years developing and implementing web-based and client Server business applications. We also require 2 to 4 years experience working with relational databases and knowledge and skills in project cycle methodology. In order to achieve success in this role, solid communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment are required in addition to strong oral and written communication. Must have demonstrated working knowledge in C#.NET, ASP.NET, XSLT, XML, JavaScript, Visual Basic 6.0, and SQL Server 2000. Experience also desired in transactional SQL, ASP, VB/Script, DTD, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, MS/Interdev 6.0 and Microsoft Operating Systems.
