At 9 Squared we are looking for a Sr. WAP/WEB Developer to join our Technology Services Team.

As a Senior WAP/WEB Developer, your primary Responsibilities are:

*Design and develop mobile and web based system solutions using industry standard processes and methodologies

*Work with architects to create system designs and establish programming and code management processes and standards

*Develop new web/wap based applications based on customer requirements

*Analyze and enhance existing systems to better meet customer requirements and improve current system infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS:

*4 or more years of experience in software development

*Extensive Web and/or WAP develop experience

*Can code proficiently in .NET, C#, C/C++, Java and other languages

*Solid understanding of Object Oriented design and development

*including model abstraction and the usage of design patterns

*Solid background in database design and development

*Experienced in code versioning and management

*Knowledge of UML for system modeling.

DESIRED SKILLS:

*SMS and WAP development experience

*Familiarity with fundamental wireless technologies including SMS, MMS, WAP-Push, GSM, TDMA, CDMA, CDMA2000 (1xRTT, 1xEV-DO), W-CDMA.

*Bachelors/Masters/Technical Degree (CS, EE, EECS or Equivalent) preferred.

Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP
