Senior Business Analyst - Financials

The primary function of this position is to partner with the Finance Department
in the development and support of the company's business processes and systems
in the areas of financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and
cost analysis. This individual will be accountable for providing leadership in
facilitating information gathering, structured documentation, recommendations
and deployment of changes.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Approximately 5% DomesticEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS degree in Accounting, Engineering, Computer
Science or related fieldsJOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct analyses of financial business process and functional system
requirements.
Development of business cases in the support of process changes and/or IT
related projects.
Troubleshoot system applications and business process issues.
Analyze and correct application errors, manage software configuration,
prepare documentation for application changes.
Provide on call support for application issues and support for system
Develop functional specifications for system changes
Planning, management and deployment of systems related projects.
Continuous interaction with management and staff to identify and solve
process/system issues.JOB REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years functional experience in financial reporting or general accounting
experience
Experience in a distribution and/or manufacturing company preferred
5+ years experience supporting ERP financial systems (Oracle Financials
strongly preferred)
Project Management experience
Experience in working with all levels of management
Ability to quickly learn application software at level required to support
users and assist with application setup
Problem solving skills to assist in operation/system issues * Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
