The position requires someone with a self-starter mindset, ability and judgment to prioritize issues and to multitask. You will be required to have a high-degree of flexibility, attention to detail, organization and timeliness. The successful applicant will have the ability to learn quickly and handle many responsibilities at once. You will be assigned to work on multiple IS Projects responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, performing GAP analysis and defining solutions to gaps, system interface design, conversion requirements and design, lead development of use cases, actively participate in testing, system configuration, training, development of user procedures and training. Communication, interpersonal skills, analysis and documentation are key responsibilities of this position.The Senior Business Analyst has strong technical and project skills and an in-depth understanding of how to document business problems and leading transformation projects. The Senior Business Analyst is highly organized, articulate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team structure. Leadership and management experience is desired.Essential Functions Requirements gathering & needs analysis on a variety of assignments
Business process review and redesign
Perform complex solution design analysis
Research and present alternative approaches and perform cost/benefit/risk analysis
Develop and present functional design specifications
Follow appropriate implementation of methodology
Assist with prioritizing development requests
Provide input to Project/Program ManagersStrong and precise written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience implementing accounting / ERP and CRM software
Other duties as assigned.Secondary Functions Experience writing basic SQL queries a plus
Understanding of data modeling, relational database design concepts, & multi-tiered Internet application architecture
Participate and provide input into the evaluation and implementation of new applications, application functionality and tools as required.
Required Skills5+ years of business systems analysis.
Experience in business process design and translation into an automated workflow.
Experience with support of ERP/CRM packaged solutions (Oracle 11i strongly preferred)
Experience working directly with software development teams
Experience with working with cross section of users at different levels in an organization
Experience with software development methodologies
Familiarity with SQL language.
Flexibility as requirements change in a rapidly moving high-tech environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks within a tight timeframe
Solid problem resolution and issue resolution skills
Experience with end-to-end system testing.
