Our client is a company pioneered by one of the most distinguished business leaders in the U.S. today recognized globally for his entrepreneurial successes during his 30 + year business career. He is the former CEO of a leading financial services company with revenues in excess of $1 billion. The company is focused on Internet “Neural Networking.”

The Senior Programmer will report to our Director of Software Development, under the CoVibe™, Tech Division. Candidate will be joining a team of dedicated, highly talented internal developers.

The Free BSD OS constitutes the cornerstone of our design and cost control. Web service is provided by the Open Source Apache HTTP Server Project, a fast and secure web server that powers 70% of web sites on the Internet. The site front end is written using the Open Source PHP Programming Language. There are several additional tools that are used in the operation of the site that are also Open Source. The web site is designed with innovative features including a content system that is designed for the average user to easily upload content to share with others. We need a “hands on “ individual who is willing to work front end as well as backend and who has a passion for his work and 100% commitment to the project
REQUIREMENTS
Informal team environment

Knowledge Required

UNIX

Proficiency in c++

Experience trouble shooting and debugging

Profiling and tuning for optimizations

2+ years of php5

Css

Perl python and ruby

Strong math and algorithm skills

Must want to do front and backend

A BS degree in Computer Science or comparable work in a computer environment.
