Responsibilities

The Sales Director is responsible for driving and participating in multi-region sales cycles including INTTRA global accounts and large regional accounts. In addition to developing new business and managing complex sales cycles for these accounts, responsibilities will also include carrier support, account planning and reporting, and regional communications. The Sales Director may also be assigned outside the region to work with other sales team members and other departments in support of Sales to land large, multi-national accounts in other regions or geographies.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate will spend approximately 50% of their time on the road visiting customers and carriers, with at least half the remaining time spent in our Miami office.

Corporate responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, documenting requests for product enhancement, and working with customers to ensure they are successfully leveraging the INTTRA solution.

Ultimately the individual is also responsible for:
•The development and maintenance of his/her own client base.
•The active and effective participation of all INTTRA Carriers in the Region

The Sales Director reports to the MD of The Americas, based in Miami, FL.

Qualifications

The Successful Sales Director will be a self-starter with an extensive sales background in international supply chain and must have a solid understanding of all related parties and their individual contributions to that chain.

INTTRA recruits senior industry sales executives with diverse backgrounds. Experience in organizations such as ocean carriers, freight forwarders, consolidators, shippers, NVOCC”s, supply chain information technology providers or related vertical portals is preferable.

Commercial and technical understanding of the Internet, especially with B2B web portals, and other e-commerce solutions such as EDI, is preferred.
