SYSTEMS ANALYST

of the top 50 "Great Places to Work" by the Washingtonian.We are currently seeking a PeopleSoft HCM Systems Analyst at our International Headquarters in McLean, VA. The Systems Analyst - Team Lead will provide support for the PeopleSoft HCM application for Sunrise Senior Living and give thought Leadership in managing the application and key stakeholders. This position will require experience in analyzing and resolving issues associated with the PeopleSoft applications. This position will also require coordinating issues within IT for resolution and maintaining a good relationship with users internal and external to the Sunrise Information Technology department.This position is responsible for:

Provide technical leadership in the implementation and support of IT solutions

Researches, analyzes, and implements possible software/technical solutions

Able to work effectively with users by phone, email, or fax and resolve system problems

Construct technical specifications based on business needs

Estimate level of effort for tasks and manage user expectationsSystem Analyst requirements:

BS in computer science/MIS or equivalent experience

Three years or more in the following:

PeopleSoft HCM v8.x

PeopleTools

PeopleCode

SQR Development/modification

SQL

Experience in the following is a plus:

HCM 7.x or 8.x migration to HCM 8.8, 8.9

App Engine

Component Interface

Portal

Security Administration

Experience with business process and change management

Effective written and verbal communication

Good interpersonal skills

An ability to work with vendors and build relationships

Good familiarity of full-life-cycle-development process

Sound analytical design and problem solving skills

An ability to work in team environment consisting of IT and functional user team members

An ability to work independently, with the ability to deliver priorities within agreed timeframes
