SYSTEM ANALYST, SR (LAWSON/KRONOS)

Candidates must have four to six years experience with a focus on ERP systems support especially Lawson and Kronos. 2. Candidate will be responsible for support, maintenance and day to day administration of financial and administrative systems. 3. Analyzes user specifications and requirements and makes recommendations based upon thorough analysis of issues. Participates in project planning and systems solutions implementations as directed by Management. 4. Codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs and processes on large and small-scale projects. 5. Candidate must possess good analytic and troubleshooting skills with a solid work ethic. 6. Reports to the IT Manager ? Financial & Administrative Applications 7. Revises and updates programs and documentation as required. 8. Requires Bachelor's degree and 4-6 years relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. 9. Candidate will effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate good communication and organizational skills. 10. Practical experience and proficiency in variety of programming languages and skills ? including Unix shell scripting, Microfocus COBOL other languages as required. 11. Self starter and self-motivated 12. Participation in an off-hours on-call rotation is required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Design, plan, implement and maintain systems updates and enhancements. 2. Assesses the needs of users and departments, evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations and implement solutions. 3. Develops, implements and maintains procedures for system administration including data backups, nightly processing and system maintenance. 4. Troubleshoot and resolve application system issues as needed. 5. Communicate effectively with financial and administrative user areas including Finance, Materials Management and Human Resources. 6. Administration & support of KRONOS time clocks and applications 7. Administration & support of Lawson ERP system 8. Administration and support of ancillary programs and processes, including BSI Tax Factory, Document Express and interfaces to/from the Financial & Administrative systems 9.
